    The vibrancy of an egg yolk is a reflection of the hens diet. The deep orange colour is created by carotenoids which is a red pigment found in plants.

    Our hens are able to forage for grass and insects, which allows them to produce a colour-rich yolk!

    The colour of the yolk tells you a lot about the life of the hen who laid the egg. Thats why we say, the more vibrant, the merrier!

  • More Strong.

    The perfect egg starts with a strong thick shell! This better protects the inside of the egg from any nasties. ⁠

    Egg shells are made up almost entirely of Calcium Carbonate and it can take up to 20hrs for a hen to produce an egg shell!
    ⁠
    That's why our chook feed contains Calcium to aid strong bones and egg shell production, ensuring our hens can continue laying the perfect egg!

    Our hens lay your eggs to order. Within approx. 48hrs they're delivered to your door to ensure you receive the freshest of eggs.

    By getting your eggs to you pronto, this ensures they are as fresh as can be. Fresh eggs are heavier and the whites are thick and fluffy. They hug tightly around the golden yolk, creating the egg of your dreams!
