Quiche

Looking for an easy, satisfying meal that makes the most of eg. free range eggs? This simple quiche recipe is packed full of flavour, and perfect for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

Ingredients

  • 6 eg. Free Range Eggs
  • 1 cup milk or cream
  • 1 cup grated cheese
  • 1 cup chopped veges (spinach, zucchini, or mushroom)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • Smoked salmon (optional)

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C Bake.
  2. Lightly sauté vegetables in a pan for 3–4 minutes until softened. Set aside.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together eg. eggs, milk or cream, salt and pepper.
  4. Place vegetables and salmon (if using) into a lined pie or baking dish.
  5. Pour over the egg mixture and sprinkle cheese on top.
  6. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the quiche is set in the centre and golden on top.
  7. Let cool slightly before slicing.
